Temporary Health Insurance Plans

If you know that you will have health insurance coverage options in the next 6 - 12 months (such as health insurance through your employer), this may be a good option to get you through the temporary period between now and the day you are eligible to start your new plan. 

These plans don't cover any expenses (office visits, prescriptions, hospital, surgery etc.) until you reach your deductible amount for the year.  Also, they don't cover anything pre-existing.  However, they are a great major medical insurance coverage option to cover you from large expenses.
